The Senior Marketing Manager Branch Merchandising & Strategy will lead the execution of all in-branch marketing and merchandising across digital (digital screens ATMs digital signage) and physical formats (posters window wraps physical signage) across the US network. This role will work closely with internal Marketing teams business partners and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing to the branches. In addition to executing on branch merchandising this role will lead a number of strategic initiatives in support of BMOs US growth strategy such as mobile branch activations testing innovative merchandising and branch marketing practices leading branch marketing KPIs and acting as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team. Additional responsibilities may include providing information and direction for media and creative development ensuring brand and governance standards are maintained in all solutions and collaboration with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.

  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Breaks down strategic problems and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments planning stakeholder management execution evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
  • Executes work to deliver timely accurate and efficient service.
  • Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels media and platforms.
  • Works with business/group in the development and management of campaign budgets.
  • Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal frameworks standards guidelines and governance.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader enterprise-wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 8 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Extensive experience in project management
  • Advertising and/or creative agency experience.
  • Experience in and advanced knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary:

$72500.00 - $134500.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
