Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional consumer-directed services in mental health health care or social service agency.
One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility is preferred. Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
Ability to physically assist in lifting and carrying food service supplies and equipment without restriction.

How you will make a difference:
This position has primary responsibility for coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); preparing meals and snacks shopping for food and other various life skills. Assist with and supervise meal preparation by current applicable federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations. Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and the facilities are maintained safely and cleanly. Assist with client laundry household cleaning and other tasks as needed. This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean orderly sanitary and attractive condition.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18-59 experiencing a psychiatric crisis safely stabilize recover and transition back to the community.
Services include:
24/7 program
Therapeutic and mental health services
Rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation)
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
Daily exercise and health/wellness education
Crisis intervention.

In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 16.50 - 23.03. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.Full-Time
