Job Description
Material Handler - South Bend IN
2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm $18/hour
Job Duties:
- Manage regrind barrels by weighing them updating inventory and replacing them with liners
- Ensure hoppers are filled throughout the day
- Monitor dryers to ensure they are heating properly and handle the receipt and proper storage of materials and coloring
- Clean PPE filters regularly and ensure barrels are prepped for use
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in math including ratios and percentages
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift and or move up to 55lbs throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8 - 12 hour shifts).
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
