Job Description

Contract to Hire

Material Handler - South Bend IN

2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm $18/hour


Job Duties:

  • Manage regrind barrels by weighing them updating inventory and replacing them with liners
  • Ensure hoppers are filled throughout the day
  • Monitor dryers to ensure they are heating properly and handle the receipt and proper storage of materials and coloring
  • Clean PPE filters regularly and ensure barrels are prepped for use


Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in math including ratios and percentages
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 55lbs throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8 - 12 hour shifts).
  • Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
  • Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
  • Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
