Machine Operator - Steel Plant
JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat Inc. is seeking a machine operator to join our steel fabrication team in Clinton NC. Were looking for employees who not only take pride in the quality of their work but also enjoy and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a busy shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Verify conformance of work piece to specifications
- Ability to work from provided manufacturing diagrams to produce metal parts
- Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision
- Uses appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned jobs
- Ability to analyze problems and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product meets specifications
- Assist in the installation maintenance and repair of machinery
- Adhere to all safety procedures
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
- Were seeking operators with an understanding of touch screen automation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in working in a high volume manufacturing facility required
- Experience with Prima Power machine preferred but not required
- Must have flexibility to work 1st and/or 2nd shift (1st: 7am-5pm 2nd: 2pm-12am)
- Stable work history required
- Satisfactory reference check drug screening and criminal background check required
