Job Description

Job Description Summary
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our clinic in Highland IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

Practice Highlights
-Well established growing practice.
-Supportive Community with loyalty to HSHS
-Group shared call
-On-site access for labs scans and other needs through connection to HSHS --St. Josephs Hospital in Highland
-Many labs can be done within the clinic. Any needs the clinic cannot cover can typically be taken care of by the hospital within a patients visit.

Position Requirements
-Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
-Board Certified or Board Eligible
-2 years of provider work experience is preferred
-Experience in primary care is preferred but experience in other specialties will also be considered.

Position Details
-Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of either working 4 or 5 days per week
-No holidays or weekends
-Minimal call - phone call only no call time is spent coming into the clinic
-EPIC EMR

Compensation & Benefits Package
-Base guarantee

Education Qualifications
  • Masters degree in biomedical science psychology or related field is required.
  • Bachelors degree in biomedical science psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants is preferred.
  • DEA license is preferred.

$52.00 - $75.25

A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
