Are you a dedicated Behavior Analyst or BCBA Supervisor looking to make a meaningful statewide impact Were seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to help elevate behavioral services for individuals with developmental disabilitiesnot just at one location but throughout the community.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Clinical Supervisor youll serve as a key resource in delivering high-quality behavioral services across Nebraska. Youll guide and mentor Behavior Support Specialists and BCBA candidates consult with interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with state and local partners to ensure individuals receive effective person-centered behavioral support.

In this community-focused role youll not only support individuals and teams at the Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC) but youll also work with other service providers agencies and regions across the state to promote best practices and build capacity in behavioral care.

As a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Clinical Supervisor you will be responsible but not limited to the following job duties:

  • Provide direct clinical supervision to Behavior Support Specialists Behavior Analysts and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

  • Supervise and train BCBA candidates and students enrolled in behavior analysis programs in accordance with Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) standards.

  • Oversee the efficient use of behavioral services staff and resources including workload distribution caseload management and acquisition of necessary equipment.

  • Assist Interdisciplinary Teams with day-to-day behavioral problem-solving crisis intervention and planning to support individuals served.

  • Design and conduct in-service staff training on behavioral assessment and intervention strategies grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA).

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to DD leadership Nebraska state entities and community providers on behavioral intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness.

  • Review develop and modify individualized behavior support plans; lead or participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Coordinate and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support the development review and revision of individual treatment plans.

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned behavioral services staff recommending personnel actions related to hiring scheduling performance and discipline.

  • Train staff on ABA principles including functional behavior assessment replacement behavior development and intervention strategies.

  • Provide indirect behavioral services through consultation with interdisciplinary teams to enhance behavioral support and individual outcomes.

  • Support professional development and clinical research initiatives; contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

  • Serve as a backup to other BCBAs delivering day-to-day behavioral services across the state.



Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree or equivalent required in behavior analysis human services education psychology or related field. Must possess certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and completed the Behavior Analysis Certification Board training in supervision.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have experience providing behavioral support across diverse settings including community-based and statewide consultation roles. Strong leadership mentoring skills and expertise in trauma-informed care and person-centered planning are highly valued.

Other: Must possess a valid drivers license.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of behavioral and learning needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness

  • Familiarity with scientific methods used to assess and influence behavior

  • Skill in monitoring progress adjusting strategies and evaluating intervention effectiveness

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and written communication

  • Effective in communicating behavioral strategies across interdisciplinary teams

  • Ability to assess behavior identify patterns and explain findings clearly

  • Strong collaboration skills with staff individuals served families and external partners

  • Capable of preparing accurate reports and documenting treatment professionally
