Neurosurgery Finance is looking for a Financial Consultant who will be the primary support for the Marketing function. This role offers the ability to work cross-functionally with business partners around the globe to develop long-term financial plans by understanding new product launch impacts and changing market conditions. The primary focus areas include financial forecasting strategic planning market development and analysis of critical KPIs to meet strategic initiatives and financial objectives of the business.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Provide best-in-class financial support to Enabling Technologies (ET) Marketing leadership.
Complete annual operating plan (AOP) for the Marketing function inclusive of headcount expense and capital investments prioritizing functional needs within spending targets.
Own Strategic Planning process through partnership with U.S. & International teams to align strategic initiatives with financial targets creating a blueprint for long term sustainable business growth.
Analyze interpret and present insights pertaining to Neurosurgery pricing performance across the portfolio of products.
Ownership of product level market share through development of market models and understanding of changing market dynamics.
Lead new product innovation forecast by creating maintaining and updating Enrich models in coordination with R&D Finance R&D and Marketing.
Analyze large capital unit sales by region installed base growth and upgrade potential.
Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes aligning supply chain with demand plans and financial forecast.
Provide financial insights and recommendations around the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process to improve inventory efficiency and free cash flow.
Provide Ad-hoc financial assistance to business partners as needed.
Leverage analytical skills and attention to detail to become a trusted business partner through on time delivery of reliable financial analytics and actionable insights.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
MBA or a Masters degree.
Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting systems.
Experience within the medical industry.
Experience working within a matrix structured organization.
Understanding of the Finance function and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers.
Proven experience translating financial data into meaningful and concise recommendations.
