Pay:$50000 - $52000 based on experience
Work schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45am to 4:45pm

Tired of the stress and pressure of production schedules Then come join the relaxed atmosphere of the Welding Instructor at the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield Utah.
What youll be doing: Teaching youth 16-24 years of age a trade in welding this is an opportunity to teach todays youth a career that has always been and remains in high demand in todays industry!
Essential functions:
- Provide students with direction instruction and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
- Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior training personal problems or study habits.
- Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
- Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
- Maintain organized clean and safe training environment.
- Participate in student assessment panels perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- HSD/ GED required
- Utah state certificate with an endorsement in welding or certified welding educator (CWE) through American Welding Society (AWS) or National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certified Craft Instructor.
- Experience with youth excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
