As a Branch Manager he/she will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch to ensure a high level of service to members as well as team members operational efficiency the achievement of financial goals and the implementation of our core values. They will lead a team of banking professionals fostering a positive work environment that encourages staff development and exceptional member service.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise train and mentor branch staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery
- Leadership qualities to include: integrity creativity willingness to share thoughts and ideas for the betterment of the team respectful and ability to coach
- Management experience is required
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Act as a Senior Loan Officer Member Service Representative
- Lending experience: Processing decisioning; Low delinquency track record
- Experience in account opening/closing etc. a plus
- Participation in monthly managers meetings
- Work with Senior Managers to provide consistent member service and team expectations
- Candidates should have strong written and verbal skills and a proven track record of leading lending and managing.
- Maintain Branch Operations:
- Comply with regulations policies and procedures
- Monitor branch activities and report to management team
- Assure branch team members are informed and in the loop
- Ensure branch facility needs are met
- Ensure branch brand is in sync with overall brand
- Community Engagement:
- Participating (along with all team members) in community activities as outlined by Marketing Team
- Act as a liaison between the credit union and the community representing the credit union at local events and fostering partnerships.
- Promote financial literacy and community outreach initiatives.
