Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Full-time: Benefit Eligible
In this role you will:
- Accurately accession patient specimens into the laboratory information system
- Provide support for pathologists histology technicians and gross technicians in the dermatology pathology lab
- Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on instruments and stain lines
- Correlate H&E and IHC slides for scanning and distribution
- Embed processed tissue specimens in paraffin blocks
- Prepare chemical and biological waste for removal
- File retrieve and scan pathology materials for send out studies and specialized testing
- Answer phones and serve as a resource for clients and patients
All you need is:
- High School Diploma minimum
- One year of laboratory training or experience is preferred or qualified to receive on the job training
- Strong reading writing communication multitasking time management and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory and office equipment including but not limited to: telephones computers automated slide scanning and staining systems microscopes and audible alarms

- 2 years of laboratory training or experience in a high volume laboratory
