Job Summary:
The Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) Accounting team has an opening for a Financial Analyst. This position will be responsible for JJV Accounts Payable tasks. The role entails invoice processing payment disbursement supplier communication month end close and reconciliations and process compliance.
What You Will Do:
Invoice Processing:
Process Supplier & Partner invoices accurately and efficiently. Handle high volumes and complex Invoices with utmost attention.
Handle exceptions or discrepancies in invoices by coordinating with internal teams & external teams.
Drive Invoice processing on daily basis.
Payment Disbursement:
Execute timely payments to Suppliers via different payment methods (e.g. bank transfers checks and ACH).
Monitor payment cycles and schedules to avoid delays or missed payments and prioritize payments based on the Urgency and Nature.
Ensure proper authorization and compliance with payment policies.
Supplier Communication:
Address Supplier inquiries regarding payments missing invoices or discrepancies promptly. Build strong relationships with Suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Month End Close & Reconciliations:
Handle monthly Accounts Payable reconciliations maintain accurate records and provide AP reports to management as needed.
Understand the expectations in terms of quality and data needed for the monthly reconciliations.
Process Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies SOX and other regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Economics Mathematics or a related field and 2 years relevant financial/accounting work experience; or an Advance degree and 3 years of relevant financial experience.
Experience with SAP Analysis for Office MS Excel or similar financial systems.
Experience with a variety of Accounts Payable concepts practices and procedures.

Analytical ability to investigate diagnose and resolve issues.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices using technology and other resources appropriately.
Proven customer service verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under strict timelines / pressure.
Experience with MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint & Outlook).

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
