This role will support production AND development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney TX site.
The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment on 1st Shift.
What You Will Do
Assemble disassemble re-assemble fabrication solder repair and/or inspection of electronic electrical and mechanical systems.
May set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments.
May route dispatch and expedite flow of material.
Check for work correctness.
Material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Perform wire/cable preparation installation crimping and torquing using hand instruments.
Perform in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with VM CMES SAP or other manufacturing automation databases and tools
Related experience working in a Manufacturing Assembly Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair installation and inspection.
US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. SECRET government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred.
Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards
Basic computer and math skills.
Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers sockets ratchets torque tools and analyzers etc.)
Ability to shift job assignments based on production requests.
Communicate effectively develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.
Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.
Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established demonstrated process.
Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
Effective time management skills.
Demonstrated motivation for continuous improvement.
Ability to accomplish daily work tasks with a positive attitude and interpersonal tact skills.
