Up to $10000 Sign-on Bonus
Shift: 40 hrs. (days evenings nights depending on availability) (Occasional on-call and rotating weekends may be required)
Work Location: University of Miami Hospital- Interventional Radiology
- Reviews and evaluates developed x-rays video tape or computer-generated information to determine whether images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Takes thorough and accurate patient medical histories.
- Explains procedures observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan monitors conditions and reactions and reports abnormal signs to a physician.
- Positions and immobilizes patients on examining table.
- Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance.
- Records processes and maintains patient data and treatment records and prepares reports.
- Sets up examination rooms ensuring that necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Performs scheduled maintenance and minor emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
ARRT Certification required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to the Universitys core values.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
