Job Description
What you will do
As a Shipping Supervisor you will report to the Production Manager and oversee a single production line or designated area within our plant. This is an on-site role responsible for ensuring production goals are met maintaining a safe and clean work environment and fostering strong employee relations.
How you will do it
Train and coach production personnel to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Monitor daily production metrics such as scrap rates and output per labor hour.
Partner with engineering and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Enforce safety environmental and housekeeping standards.
Drive continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback on processes and equipment.
Prepare end-of-shift reports and ensure accurate inventory tracking.
What we look for
Required
High School degree diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor in a manufacturing setting
Strong understanding of production metrics and cost control.
Preferred
Experience auditing and improving Standard Work Practices.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Strong communication and employee relations skills.
