JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State is searching for a full time Janitorial Worker (Bryce Jordan Center) - Grade 10 to join the team. Duties include:- Collect waste from work area
- Dust dust mop floors wet mop floors spot clean and vacuum rugs runners etc.
- Clean stairways lobbies
- Wash glass mirrors light fixtures wainscoting railings toilet fixtures etc.
- Clean restrooms and stock dispensers
- Wash windows sills etc.
- Wash and polish furniture brass etc.
- Maintain equipment and materials to perform work in a clean and orderly condition
- Lock doors close and lock windows and turn out lights
- Lamp and relamp lighting fixtures(when using ladders employee is restricted to standing on step not over 48 inches above floor surfaces)
- Report needed repairs to supervisor
Work Schedule:10:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Days Off:Sunday Monday
QUALIFICATIONS

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
