You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe IT Systems Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of Gravitys IT Systems building and validating multiple reports for the IT team making sure various integrations are supported and maintained and keeping up-to-date knowledge of system needs for customization and integration. The ideal candidate has strong financial knowledge and analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the IT Manager and will have the opportunity to interact with other technical and financial teams across Gravity providing broad exposure to the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with ethics honesty values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
Solves problems across a wide variety of technical challenges.
Assists the recurring forecasting and IT business processes and supports practices related to automating time-consuming data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards.
Analyzes requirements and develops functional requirements and/or solution design documents for example to support month-end close & quarterly forecasts.
Participates in the development and implementation of new reports and administers those reports going forward.
Interfaces with external software vendors for product issues troubleshooting and resolution.
Liaises and acts as a representative for IT to other systems teams within the organization.
Utilizes working knowledge of existing business application architecture including integrations and data structures.
Identifies evaluates and recommends other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered around existing systems.
Plans designs develops and launches an efficient financial system in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases proposed projects and system requirements.
Reviews users requirements for new or enhanced functionality performs gap analysis and identifies recommends and implements product customizations enhancements or workarounds to meet requirements.
Generates and complies reports based on their findings complete with probable causes and possible solution to systems issues.
Develops and maintains training documentation and trains end users of standard software functionality and custom enhancements.
Applies proven communication analytical and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Analyzing business process flows to and from accounting in order to maximize software systems use process efficiency and productivity while maintaining or enhancing consistency.
Assists end-users with day-to-day application issues.
Provides second level support with helpdesk application issues.
Completes all safety and equipment related training required on a monthly basis.
Any other duty responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
