Quality Engineer
Full-Time
Morton IL
Compensation DOE: Up to $85K
Our client is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components delivering critical parts to the worlds leading aerospace platforms. Their commitment to quality and innovation is unmatched and theyre looking to add a Quality Engineer to their growing team.
What you are doing as a Quality Engineer:
Review customer purchase orders specifications and drawings to ensure quality requirements are met.
Develop implement and approve First Article Inspection (FAI) plans.
Collaborate with Engineering and shop teams to address non-conforming materials and drive process improvements.
Perform quality audits and root cause analysis; ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Provide technical guidance on inspection methods standards and compliance with AS9100 ISO 9001 and FAA regulations.
Support internal and supplier quality systems PFMEA and sampling plans.
Design and develop inspection tools gages and quality fixtures.
Lead or participate in internal audits and quality clinics.
What you need to become a Quality Engineer:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or related field preferred.
5 years of quality or engineering experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of AS9100 ISO 9001 AS9102 and FAA compliance.
Skilled in root cause analysis FMEA SPC Control Plans and GD&T.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A passion for continuous improvement and high-performance teamwork.
