Job Description Summary
The North America Fulfillment Operations and Risk Leader will be responsible for supporting the Pensacola factory and MSD fulfillment team as the analyst working to identify areas for process improvement relative to material on-time delivery and supplier lead time. This position will also lead the KPI creation maintenance and problem-solving for the Fulfillment team.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Drive problem solving relative to teams KPIs. Creating visualization tools and leading Problem Solving Reports to improve the metrics.
- Act as the escalation point for missing parts for the organization creating processes to: make allocations to supplier based on global LOB inputs and for leadership escalation
- Function as the Lead Time program leader providing reporting & program management oversight in conjunction with the global operations leader to drive team improvements on critical commodities
- Develop knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes as well as GE Pensacola factory purchasing and manufacturing to support projects specific to improved delivery execution
- Utilize lean methodology to drive process control and standard work relative to supplier and strategy performance.
- Develop operating mechanisms to look upstream for pending requirements and drive engineering / manufacturing / sales to ensure sourcing is given adequate cycle to procure material.
- Team ECO coordinator and process improvement leader ensuring full cycle is allocated to cut-ins to minimize expediting of requirements.
- Engage and lead w/horizontal teams to develop risk mitigation plans for NPI launch issues Quality/Cost/Delivery/LT
- Work with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to execute on Supplier fulfillment strategy to drive on-time delivery improvements for the NAM team
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing sourcing or engineering
Desired Characteristics
- Oracle Races R12 and PLM experience
- Domain expertise in using Renewables System include: Oracle Corella MOS Service Now etc.
- Program management skills with Horizontal teams
- Strong interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of internal GE and external suppliers
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong PC and database management skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities
- International business experience
- Black Belt / Green Belt certified or quality certification
The base pay range for this position is$125000.00 - $208300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
