Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Benefits Administrator (Dalton GA)
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Benefits Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance dental vision life insurance short- and long-term disability retirement plans and wellness initiatives. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and internal policies while providing excellent employee service. It also supports the evaluation implementation and communication of new or changing benefit plans and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:
Administer Benefits Programs:Administer and coordinate benefit programs including open enrollment new hire enrollments qualifying life events terminations and monthly benefits billing. Assist with wellness programs. Work closely with payroll to ensure benefits-related deductions and adjustments are correct.
Compliance:Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations. Participate in audits and reporting requirements including 5500 filings nondiscrimination testing and ACA reporting. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g. ERISA HIPAA COBRA ACA).
Employee Support:Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits policies and procedures responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Enrollment Coordination:Manage open enrollment periods.
Documentation:Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS and vendor systems; ensure proper deductions and eligibility
Research and Recommend:Support the evaluation of existing benefit plans and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
Vendor Management:Coordinate with vendors and carriers to resolve issues related to claims eligibility or enrollment.
Communication:Assist in the development and execution of benefit communications including presentations FAQs and plan documents.

Experience & Education Desired:
Bachelors degree in human resources business administration or related field.
At least 2-4 years of experience in benefit administration preferably in a multi-state organization.
Knowledge of COBRA HIPAA and ERISA regulations
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday ADP UKG Oracle) and benefits platforms.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
