Job Description: Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract) - Syracuse NY

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis in Syracuse NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining repairing and calibrating a wide range of biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of biomedical equipment
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities
  • Train and mentor junior technicians
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass background and drug screen.
