Job Description
- Location: Marble Falls TX 78657
- Assignment Duration: Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and medical histories.
- Order interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments per protocols with focus on safety efficacy and cost.
- Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide patient and family counseling on conditions treatments medications lifestyle changes.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation.
- Consult and refer cases outside scope of practice as needed.
- Perform procedures within training and credentialed scope.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with a population health approach.
- Support extended clinic coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PA program.
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire).
- Less than one year of experience required (new grads welcome).
