JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Oncology

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Pagosa Springs CO

Service Setting: Hospital/Infusion Center

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 07/14/2025 13 weeks

Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Thursday 10-hour shifts plus one Friday per month

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Oncology and Infusion patients

Patient Volume/Census: TBD

Rounding: Included

Case Mix: Oncology and infusion therapy

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department: 0 49 (small facility)

EMR System: Cerner

Reason for Coverage: Staffing for Oncology/Infusion care

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Examination treatment consultation follow-up referrals lab and imaging orders

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Colorado license required

Certifications: ANCC or AANP; AOCNP certification required

Experience: Minimum 2 years of oncology subspecialty experience

Other Qualifications: DEA license required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Oncology and Infusion patients

Perform patient evaluations treatments and follow-ups

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs

Utilize Cerner for documentation and ordering labs/imaging
