Job Description
Job Title:Forklift Operator / Shipping
Job Type:Temp-to-Hire
Location:Tulsa OK
Pay:$17.00/hour
Shift:Monday Friday 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experiencedForklift Operator / Shipping Associateto assist with material handling inventory and outbound logistics in a warehouse setting. This role supports daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth production and timely product delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to safely move materials
- Load and unload trucks trailers and containers
- Transport raw materials to production areas and move finished goods to storage or shipping zones
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory records and follow all shipping/receiving procedures
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and company guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Package products for shipment according to customer and company specifications
- Coordinate with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience
- 2 years of warehouse and shipping experience
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to complete shipping documentation
