Forklift Operator / Shipping
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Pay: $17/hour
Shift: Monday Friday 4:00 AM 2:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator / Shipping Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Tulsa. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse and shipping operations ensuring the efficient movement of materials and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
Load and unload trucks trailers and containers efficiently and safely.
Move raw materials to production areas and transport finished goods to storage or shipping zones.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain accurate inventory and follow all shipping and receiving protocols.
Adhere to company safety procedures and operational policies at all times.
Assist with general warehouse operations and housekeeping tasks.
Prepare and package products for shipment per company and customer specifications.
Coordinate with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience operating forklifts.
At least 2 years of warehouse and shipping experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Basic computer skills and ability to complete shipping documentation.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
