What skills should I have
Ideal candidates for our Veterinary Technician position should bring at least 2 years of practical experience in the field demonstrating proficiency in comprehensive veterinary patient care that spans from foundational patient restraint techniques to complex anesthesia and surgical procedures.
Our hospital prides itself on fostering an enjoyable work atmosphere bolstered by excellent leadership mentorship and supporting staff that cooperatively drive continuous advancement in medical knowledge and procedures. Veterinary Technicians are essential to the flourishing of our practice playing a crucial role in delivering top-notch medical care to our patients and exemplary customer service to our clients. This role demands a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
necessitating robust leadership customer service and technical skills that empower you to create a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of both our animal patients and their owners each day.
We are particularly interested in motivated energetic and compassionate individuals eager to grow professionally and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Preferred candidates should have hands-on experience in surgical assistance pharmacy management laboratory work radiology procedures routine medical care medical records handling as well as expertise in anesthesia administration patient handling and monitoring.
Pay range: $22.00 to $27.00 depending on experience and certification
Applicant Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have phlebotomy skills and be able to confidently collect blood samples
lead appointment independently
perform-assist with surgery procedures
Dedicated excellence in client service
Have knowledge of principles and processes of animal handling/patient care and knowledge of common veterinary drugs
focus on operational and organizational excellence.

High school diploma
2 years of hands-on veterinary medicine experience (required)
A degree in veterinary or relevant field (preferred)
Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
