Data team builds the foundational data infrastructure and analytics tools that power Amazons hiring decisions. We create secure scalable solutions that enable teams across ITA to access and analyze recruitment data effectively while maintaining data integrity.
Key job responsibilities Architect develop and maintain end to end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines
Work closely with business owners developers Business Intelligence Engineers to explore new data sources and deliver the data.
Empower the team for self-servicing by providing the necessary skills to handle complex tasks independently.
Ensure that the team can efficiently manage and troubleshoot data-related issues leading to increased autonomy and productivity. along with fostering a culture of self-reliance.
- 3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence - Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python Java Scala or NodeJS - Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage document or key-value stores graph databases column-family databases)
