Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with participants while at the day center.
- Be punctual work independently and remain unbiased when conducting interviews.
- Keep organized records of interviews and update the Vital Research team daily (e.g. completed interviews and refusals etc.).
- Build positive relationships with customers and comprehend customer feedback.
- Using a company-issued tablet device to conduct 10-15 minute in-person interviews in an atmosphere of privacy.
- Utilize your personal cell phone and email address to regularly be in touch with Vital Research.
- Comply with confidentiality federal HIPAA regulations and adhere to data security requirements.
- Be available between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm during assignments. Actual hours worked will vary.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in Spanish/English. Do not apply if you are not bilingual in the language listed.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Comfort interacting with older adults and demonstrating concern and sensitivity to issues of disability illness and communication challenges.
- Strong organization time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate skillfully and in a timely manner via email and phone.
- Proficient with email uploading/downloading files Internet use and troubleshooting possible technical glitches.
- Personal computer (or other selected devices) with access to view and modify MS Excel and access the internet.
- A personal phone and reliable wireless Internet.
- Ability to read type and record responses accurately.
- Ability to follow structured protocols to comply with confidentiality and federal HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to a business casual dress code and other personal requirements.
- Reliable transportation with a valid drivers license/automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with older adults nursing homes assisted living or adult daycare centers preferred.
- Interviewing experience preferred.
Compensation:
- $29.50 per hour
- $14.75 per hour when traveling
- Mileage and other reimbursements also included.
