POSITION: CARPENTER/CABINET MAKER
COMPANY PROFILE:
HOLLY HUNTis known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs produces and showcases custom made furniture products.
POSITION PROFILE:
Performs the assembly of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembly of products:
- Product completion per Production Schedule
- Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
- Maintain work station clean organized and safe.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
- Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
- Observe all company policies and standard practices.
- Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience of carpentry.
- Reading and understanding drawings dimensions views and tolerances.
- Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
- Bench saw
- Miter saw/Radial saw
- Band saw
- Planer/Jointer
- Electrical tools: Router screw driver sander.
- Hand tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
