You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailConduct analytical testing of various vegetable oils using Stratas SOPs in a manufacturing facility. Recording corresponding data electronically. Clean and organize laboratory in a food manufacturing environment.
Testing of samples at various points in the process: production samples inbound and outbound truck samples.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate to management when test results indicate that corrective action is necessary
2. Prioritize oil samples as they arrive in the laboratory
3. Complete analytical testing and paperwork in a timely manner
4. Enter all analysis into data base (TLC)
5. Learn procedures as necessary
6. Develop a thorough understanding of laboratory processes and procedures
7. Attend all training and safety meetings as scheduled
Qualifications :
Education: High School diploma or equivalent - Required & Verified
Related Experience: Experience with food safety a plus. Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required.
Equipment/Software Skills: Basic Computer Data Entry Skills - Required

Additional Information :
Salary Range: $41600 - $48880 / Annually

Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds climb stairs lift bend kneel stand for long periods of time and work with heights as needed. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk sit and stand. The employee will also be required to use hands arms and fingers.
Sensory: Visual speaking and touch is essential.
Mental/Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
Successful Candidates: possess basic computer/technology skills capacity for memorizing and executing a multitude of processes willingness to learn or knowledge of food safety in manufacturing environment willingness to learn to operate laboratory devices and machinery able to work weekends and overtime when required.
