Our Principal Keynote Lead role is at the heart of this mission working across teams to create keynotes that translate complex technical concepts into engaging narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key job responsibilities
Write technical keynote scripts that effectively communicate AWS products and services across re:Invent and other major tech events
Develop compelling storylines that break down complex cloud computing concepts
Collaborate with executives and product teams to identify key technical themes and messaging
Produce high-quality video content and presentations that meet Amazons high bar
Work with design teams on multimedia elements including animations and interactive demos
Available to work across time zones with a globally distributed team

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience in cloud technology
7 years of experience in technical content creation and storytelling
Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing and emerging technologies
Proven experience writing for both technical and non-technical audiences
Professional experience with video production and presentation software


Experience writing for technical industry executives
Demonstrated involvement with developer communities
Advanced proficiency in video production and editing software
In depth experience with AWS products and services
Ability to read and write code
Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $330500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
