RNESU is accepting applications for Preschool Paraeducators for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The Preschool Paraeducator is responsible for helping to provide a safe and developmentally appropriatepreschool program in accordance with all relevant legislation policies and PreschoolParaeducator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a program to teach young children. They must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with relevant federal and municipal legislation and policies. The Paraeducator will be respectful of children and parents and should help keep equipment and facilities clean safe and well maintainedPreschool Paraeducators are expected to work with our youngest school children in classrooms. The job of a Preschool Paraeducator is a busy one assisting young children to explore learn and play in a safe rewarding and educational environment. The case manager and/or early childhood teacher is the first line of communication and needs to be kept abreast of the student(s) progress and any issues that arise in supporting the student(s). Working as a team member the Preschool Paraeducator assists in teaching young children to grow socially emotionally and following qualifications are required:Previous knowledge in child development and early education theories and practices and safe and appropriate activities for childrenAssociates degree or equivalent preferred.
