Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled self-motivated technically minded Civil Engineer with 5 plus years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected Base Salary: $90000 to $120000 based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the design of commercial office mixed-use multi-family residential education municipal and/or Federal projects
- Strong technical skills in site layout grading and drainage and site utility design
- Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations technical studies mapping documents preparation and processing of public improvement and grading plans and earthwork calculations
- Ability to prepare Hydrology Studies Stormwater Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
- Experience working in the City and County of San Diego preferred
- Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D including surfaces and pipe networks
- Specification preparation experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
Expected Salary Range $90000.00 to $120000.00.
