UW Continuum College (UWC2) is hiring part-time instructors in the Professional & Continuing Education (PCE) Cold Regions Engineering program. Applicants will be considered for the course occurring April 24 2025 through April 29 2025.
Instructors serve a key role in certificate programs engaging with students serving as subject matter experts presenting learning content and assessing whether learners have achieved course competencies. PCE students consistently say that the instructor is the single most important element of their course.
The pay range for these instructor positions is $3350.00 to $4250.00 per CEU* commensurate with experience and qualifications. The spring offering of this course in the Cold Regions Engineering program is for a total of 3.2 CEUs. CEUs are proportionately divided across multiple instructors based upon sections taught. As co-instructors share course responsibilities co-instructor salaries will be prorated based on assigned duties and sections taught.
Professional and Continuing Education Instructors...
The Cold Regions Engineering certificate program is delivered entirely online using Zoom. Classes meet 8am-5pm PST beginning April 24th through April 27th (Thursday to Sunday) and ending with an exam on Tuesday April 29th from 8am-12pm. Grading to be completed no later than May 6th. Information on the PCE Cold Regions Engineering certificate program may be found at Extension Lecturers / Instructors are Academic Staff not faculty. These are part-time temporary positions.
