Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Control / Materials Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Berkeley MO; Huntsville AL; Mesa AZ; Ridley Park PA; Seattle WA; Kennedy Space Center FL or El Segundo CA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads cross-functional teams to drive process improvement to achieve Production Control / Materials Management annual goals and objectives across BDS sites

• Leads facilitates development and deploys integrated supply chain strategic plans for process improvement/management and organizational direction

• Develops and manages complex project schedules

• Provides oversight and leads transition into actionable business strategy by understanding company policies strategic direction strategic initiatives

• Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional processes and procedures

• Benchmarks best practices and industry standards

• Reports initiatives and progress status across BDS audiences including executive leadership

• Provides guidance to subordinate team members

• Creates company-wide synergy and innovation processes and tools

• Works under minimal direction

• Provides direct support of Production Control & Materials Management Senior Directors

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10 years experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

• 10 years experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Project

• Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

• Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers

• Experience working in a fast-paced customer service-related environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• Experience directing and executing projects in accordance with stakeholder objectives and schedules

• Experience in a production environment

• Experience with RIO (Risks Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools

• Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 50% of the time.
