A short-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oncology Medical Secretary to join a specialist team in London. This role is ideal for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a background in oncology administration. The successful candidate will provide essential support to consultants and clinical staff ensuring the smooth coordination of services for our clients patients during a busy period.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Medical Secretary will be responsible for managing consultant diaries typing clinical correspondence processing referrals and liaising with patients and healthcare professionals. The role includes maintaining accurate medical records handling sensitive information with confidentiality and ensuring timely communication across departments. Familiarity with oncology terminology and workflows is essential as is the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Proficiency in using MOSAIQ or similar oncology systems is highly beneficial.
