Job Description
Job Title:Band 7 Psychological Therapist
Grade:Band 7
Location:Southampton Hampshire
Working Hours: 25 hours per week
Rate:Competitive details to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Psychological Therapist to join a private hospital in Southampton Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological therapy to individuals with eating disorders and complex mental health needs
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT DBT ACT and MANTRA
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant professional registration (e.g. HCPC BABCP or equivalent)
- Experience working in private or inpatient settings with eating disorders and mental health presentations
- Proficiency in delivering CBT DBT ACT and MANTRA therapies
- Strong assessment formulation and therapeutic skills
- Previous experience in a Band 7 Psychological Therapist role
