Job Description

AECOMs Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Roadways Graduate Engineer to join our team in Madrid.

Graduate Engineer who wants to develop his career designing Roadways to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment concept feasibility preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects. Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering Linear Infrastructure designs for many years throughout the USA Australia Canada or Middle East.

You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Design Center (Poland/Spain).

This is what you will do:

  • Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to Civil Infrastructures.
  • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
  • Performs civil engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision
  • Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff
  • Prepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.

 


    Qualifications :

    Heres what were looking for:

    • The candidate must be proactive with exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership
    • Fluent in English (oral and written)
    • Skilled in engineering software for linear infrastructures design will be considered favourable.
    • No experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
