Job Description
We are seekingMorning Prep Cook part or full time to be a part of a growing company working from 6AM to 2PM three to five days a week reporting to the Restaurant Manager. This position will be an integral member of our food service team and will interact regularly with team members local citizens guests visitors and vendors.
Job Summary
The Morning Prep Cook will work alongside our kitchen staff to prepare season and cook dishes such as soups sandwiches daily specials entres pizzas or desserts before service and a few hours after service begins. Catering experience is also highly desired.
- Prepare ingredients (e.g. chop vegetables portion meats make sauces) following daily prep list
- Ensure all prep work meets food safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
- Assist with stocking labeling and rotating inventory
- Work independently and communicate with kitchen staff about daily needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required
- Must be punctual reliable and comfortable with early mornings
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen setting
