Job Description
Overview:
Responsibilities will include signing in and out truck drivers and completing appropriate paperwork. The clerk will also provide daily/weekly reports from managers. Will coordinate shipping activities with sales and production personnel.
Heres what youll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Types manifest export papers and bills of laden in an accurate and timely manner.
- Schedule appointments with truck drivers and to pick up orders.
- Weigh truck in/out for variety company
- Data entry
- Print out/send daily reports
- Daily security/gate guard
- Daily sales
- Safety inventory specialist
- Daily janitorial duties
- Daily mail duty
- Daily paperwork filing
- Direct plant traffic.
- Availability to work rotating shifts
NOTE: The supervisor at any time depending on the needs of the company may add other duties.
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to file and recall material in a standard filing system.
- Must have basic computer literacy
- Must be able to work in close office environment with several other staff.
- Willing to work long hours if needed
- Shipping receiving warehousing experience preferable.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedures manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical functions using addition subtraction multiplication and division with high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
- Ability to analyze observed data to determine correct fruit flow and mix
- Some individuals may be required to have a forklift certification
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
