Job Summary:

Software Engineer in the Operations and Technology Group for supporting Commercial Lending Applications. Must have development experience in a leadership capacity assigning and managing work effort. Engages in the overall health of the Commercial Lending systems including system performance monitoring maintenance security secure code practices audit support and remediation and DR collaboration. Technology liaison with business stakeholders collaborating with cross-functional teams. Thrives in a dynamic work environment with demonstrated ability to adapt to change. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects you use data and analysis and apply your experience judgment and risk mindset across your responsibilities.

Major Responsibilities

As Software Engineer Assistant Vice President your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead software engineering teams to deliver quality solutions.
  • Align technology goals with business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
  • Oversee software project planning execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Work with product management operations and compliance for seamless software integration.
  • Communicate with executives clients and team members.
  • Identify and mitigate software development risks.
  • Ensure system regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience working with modern web language/frameworks such as C# .NET ( MVC .NET Core)Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core SQL Server RESTful API Development.
  • 5 years of software product development experience.
  • 5 years of Technical Lead/Project Lead experience.
  • 5 Years of Experience working in Finance/Banking domain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels.
  • Proven track record of success managing development teams in high-functioning continuous delivery environment that supports outcomes for the business.
  • Mastery of modern agile software methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban) and planning tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Solid understanding of modern API design patterns (REST GraphQL JSON etc.)
  • Strong system security experience in system vulnerability and end of life management
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SQL Server databases.
  • Experience in communicating with user/clients other technical team management to collect requirements identify tasks provides estimates and meets production deadlines.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location.
