Job Description
Company:
The Boeing CompanyOur Team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate Mid-Level or Senior Equipment & Tool Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Designs analyzes and modifies aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements.
- Researches develops evaluates and integrates robotics automation and new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.
- Teams with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.
- Estimates plans manages and executes the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
- Develops and implements testing and acceptance to validate performance.
- Creates and maintains related documentation for equipment and tooling develops preventative maintenance plans and trains personnel as needed.
- Develops and implements interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.
- Investigates engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.
- Develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher in accredited course of study in engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical Aerospace Physics Mathematics).
- 2 or more years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
- 1 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office and office computing systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in Model Based Definition CATIA ENOVIA and PDM.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience providing product definitions and technical support to groups suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
