Job Description
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a smooth closing of accounts and timely reporting of financials
- Perform month-end quarter-end and year-end closing functions for companies managed in Singapore
- Prepare monthly schedules and management reports
- Perform general ledger posting and work closely with intercompany partners on intercompany reconciliation and rebilling
- Assist in preparation of statutory reporting and regulatory statistical/surveys submission
- Ensure that company policies internal control procedures tax and GST regulations and accounting standards are complied with
- Assist in foreign currency budgetary requirement forecasting
- Liaise with external and internal auditors as and when relevant
- Provide support in process and system enhancements
- Perform accounting and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Degree with more than 5 years relevant work experience as Financial Accountant or similar role
- Experience in oil and gas/shipping industry is a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
