Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Inside Parts Sales are:
- Set up orders for daily shipment delivery or pick-up.
- Keep orderly records of all repair orders invoices insurance estimates and special order parts.
- Issue credit for parts returned ensuring that the original invoice or its number is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Participate in all training programs that are made available.
- Keep current on new products and product updates.
- Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
Qualifications:
The Inside Parts Sales requires a number of basic skills including:
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
- Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Have the ability to work other shifts for coverage of sick days or vacation relief.
Elements that are preferred but not required for the Inside Parts Sales are:
- Knowledge of parts.
- Experience with Microsoft programs and applications currently in use at this location.
- Sales experience.
- Good Customer Service Skills.
