The Choices Mobile Crisis Response Team is responsible for 24/7 mobile emergency responses for individuals experiencing an emotional behavioral and/or mental health crisis in Morgan Johnson or Shelby Indiana Counties. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the teams immediate face to face interventions and safety planning to help reduce the intensity of the crisis experience that would lead to hospitalization. The Clinical Supervisor monitors the entire process from the initial crisis call through the intervention and up to referrals for community based ongoing support services. The Clinical Supervisor coordinates the flow of information while protecting the confidentiality of the individuals served and consults with agencies providing direct supports and outcome data to funding stakeholders. The Clinical Supervisor monitorsproductivityandservicedeliveryacrossallprogramsincludingprovisionofMedicaid services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Can articulate the mission vision and practices of a mobile crisis response system for enrolled individuals.
- Manages operations of a mobile crisis response system to include establishing the format infra- structure policies and protocols and the scheduling of a fire house model 24/7 staff.
- Monitors the mobile crisis system from the initial call center the crisis intervention team to linkages with community based Reviews the types of calls coming in and uses data to develop the system.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Director in understanding and managing contracts and deliverables.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Director to create implement and manage any MOUs with system partners as needed.
- Ensures that the Choices Clinical Director is informed of the challenges to effectively operate a mobile crisis response system.
- Works with key Choices leadership personnel to establish strategic plan and quality improvement processes approved by Choices.
- Ensures collection of all necessary program data.
- Uses data from the electronic health record system and other sources to guide decision-making.
- Consults with managers and supervisors about the training and ongoing development of staff and evaluates that the training is adequate for all crisis responder teams.
- Manages grievance process on the local level.
- Monitors productivity/billable hours for staff and offers direction as needed to ensure financial sustainability of programs.
- Willingly completes other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Choices.
Supervision
- Provides direct supervision to the mobile response team including director responders and peer support staff.
- Ensures that each employee supervised has opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Provides clear expectations for each supervised staff.
- Addresses identified performance issues in a timely consistent and fair manner.
- Completes annual performance evaluations and quarterly goal setting check-ins with assigned staff.
Qualifications
- A Masters degree with license (clinical preferred) in social work/psychology or other counseling fields.
- Maintains active license per respective professional license board.
- Three years of supervision / management experience in human services field preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in assessment tools crisis intervention team building and development.
- Strong communication and writing Bi-lingual skills (Spanish) a plus.
- Highly organized and effectively manages multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professionally articulate in communicating (oral and written) system development change and outcomes.
- Demonstrated professionalism working in teams with internal colleagues and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media.
- Enthusiastic about advancing system change within the community.
- Must possess a valid drivers license in state of residence and auto insurance.
Salary Range $63000 without license-65000 with license
