Canby School District is home to 4100 students and over 500 dedicated staff members across nine schools. We serve a diverse community in both rural and suburban settings wheretraditionand innovation go hand-in-hand.
We are currently seeking a committed Speech Language Pathologistto join the Knight Elementary School and Lee Elementary Schoolteams for the upcoming school year. This is a part-time (0.5) permanent position that serves communication classrooms.
License Requirement:
Must hold a valid non-provisional Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Oregons Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Compensation & Incentives
$3500 one-time bilingual (Spanish-English) signing bonus for eligible licensed new hires
Annual SLP stipend: $2500
Annual National Board Certification stipend: $1000
Annual Doctorate degree stipend: $1000
Annual National Board Certification stipend: $1000
Annual Doctorate degree stipend: $1000
SLPs are automatically placed on the MA42 column at the step corresponding to their years of experience

High-deductible HSA plan option with district contributions to your HSA
Monthly opt-out stipend if waiving insurance
Work-Life Balance
10 paid sick days/year
5 paid personal days/year (with payout for up to 3 unused days)
Minimum of 70 minutes of protected prep time daily
Paid per diem for missed prep time due to student meetings
Remote work allowed on grading and non-student days
Professional and Personal Growth
Reimbursement for up to 12 quarter credits/year at PSU rate
Access to mentorship and instructional coaching
Yes we have a wellness program and it includes kayaks!
