Summary: The Spa Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for promoting selling booking and coordinating various engagements at the spa.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the monthly and yearly departmental marketing plan
- Actively promote spa services and group packages to corporate clients event planners and other potential customers
- Coordinate with meeting planners in order to produce a successful Spa experience
- Respond to inquiries regarding group bookings and provide detailed information about available services and pricing.
- Manage the end-to-end process for group reservations including group contract booking payment and post event follow-up.
- Communicate all pertinent information on group requirements within acceptable time frames to appropriate departments via event orders resumes and memos
- Book events in a manner that maximizes profits and complies with catering standard operating procedures
- Solicits business through sales calls promotional events personal visits and sales blitzes
- Serve as Spa Manager on Duty as needed
- Monitor spa website frequently to ensure all services promotions and pricing is accurate
- Assist with service provider scheduling during high demand periods
- Serve as point of contact with hotel sales team for site visits and buy-out programs
- Customize group wellness experiences at a luxury level based on client needs and preferences
- Handle any issues or special requests during the event promptly and professionally
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :

- Previous sales or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with spa services wellness trends and luxury customer service standards
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required.
- Excellent communication skills both and verbal and written required
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights weekends and holidays
- Previous customer service and sales experience preferred
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
