The Coordinator of the Office of Title IX and Civil Rights under the direction of the Director or above assists in the design development and implementation of departmental processes and programs to ensure the effectiveness of the same with respect to compliance for Title IX and Civil Rights. Performs routine work that involves analytics qualitative research planning training and organizational policy review and interpretation.

Assist with annual review ofTitle IX and Civil Rightspolicies and procedures to ensure compliance with current Department of Education standards. Periodic review of Student Code of Conduct to ensureTitle IX and Civil Rightspolicies and procedures align with Code.
Program Direction & Development
Manage the discrimination complaint in-take process for the office including the determination of jurisdiction of complaints. Deliver in-person training programs to the campus community. Manage Respondent Resources programming including respondent education and training with an emphasis on prevention and compliance with Title IX legislation.
Level of Public Contact
Frequent internal contacts across organizational lines at all levels and with superiors staff and students. Occasional external contacts with regard to data gathering and reporting.

Required Qualifications: This position requires either (a) Masters degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization ; (b) Bachelors degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.

This position has been designated as a CSA because it involves significant responsibility for student and campus activities and/or responsibility for campus security. As such any person in this position must report to the University Police Department a crime or an incident that might be a crime that he/she becomes aware of. This position has a reporting requirement because the University believes that responsibility for students campus activities and/or campus security will make the holder of this position someone members of the University community will see as an authority figure and someone to whom they can seek help. A CSA is not expected to investigate or determine whether a criminal incident actually took place. A CSA s responsibility is a duty to report. All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in - person training session.
