Compensation:
Pay Range: $17.95- $29.20 / hour

Multiple Shifts Available:
UAB Medicine supports work/life balance. The shifts available for this unit are:
- Full-Time AM: 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Full-Time PM: 3 12-hour shifts per week

Description:
Through on-the-job training to learn to perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic procedures (e.g. transcranial doppler studies neurovascular ultrasounds digital EEG tranmissions for outreach hospital ambulatory EEG and carotid endarectomy). To alert nursing and/or technologist staff when clinical seizures or other paroxysmal events assist with various techniques and operation of conventional and/or portable equipment needed to perform a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures under the technical supervision of a lead or supervisor. To demonstrate an awareness of neurodiagnostic safety and promote equipment checks and maintenance to help ensure the maintenance of a safe operating environment. This is an entry level position requiring no prior experience performing neurodiagnostic studies. This position does not analyze data.
