Description

The Health Science Student Ambassador role is a rewarding and exciting opportunity to represent your course at key events like Open Days Offer Holder Days and Applicant Days. Youll engage with prospective and current students support admissions activities and help host guest speakers. As an ambassador youll play a vital role in bringing events to life while sharing your unique experiences as a Health Science student.


Start Date:27/06/2025
End Date: 31/08/2026
Working Hours:9:00 - 16:30 on open days
Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour plus holiday pay
Location: University of Nottingham Medical School Queens Medical Centre East Block Lenton Nottingham NG7 2UH
Dress Code: Blue Clinical skills or if not possible blue student ambassador tops will be provided

The duties will include:

  • Must be a current UoN health Sciences Student
  • Meeting and greeting during open days offer holder days and applicant days
  • Helping with tours on these days showing the facilities we have within the school
  • Speaking to potential applicants about your experience as a student and the school of health sciences
  • Helping sign post guests to the correct spaces
  • Being a friendly face on these days


Skills and experience required for the role:

  • Strong communication skills confident speaking with prospective students families and staff.
  • Teamwork and reliability able to work well with others and commit to agreed event dates.
  • Knowledge of your course and university life willing to share personal experiences to support and inform visitors.
  • Organisational skills able to manage time effectively during busy event schedules.
