An opportunity has arisen to lead the Fund Supervision function within our Buy-Side Directorate.
In Fund Supervision we identify analyse and provide intelligence on investment fund risk overseeing funds through a combination of collaborative data-driven initiatives and insightful qualitative assessment.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with industry or regulatory expertise in investment funds and strong project management capabilities to shape and implement our supervisory strategy.

Mentor and uplift associates through an environment of learning collaboration and skill development across regulatory quantitative and programming expertise.

Minimum
Prior experience in asset management investment funds or financial services regulation
Prior experience managing a team
Prior project management experience with an understanding of analysing data
Essential
Strong understanding of the FCAs supervisory approach with the ability to recognise and prioritise potential risks to its objectives
Familiarity with wholesale markets and experience working with fund data and tools such as Morningstar
Considerate and analytical with confidence in assessing complex issues and making well-grounded risk-aware decisions
Committed to cultivating strong supportive relationships across teams firms regulators and partners
A collaborative team player who can manage multiple tasks and projects while staying responsive to shifting priorities
Flexible and organised able to adapt quickly and effectively when priorities evolve
Awareness of the challenges facing the industry with an understanding of how communication and regulatory tools can positively influence behaviours
